The national hunt game of Nepal (बाघचाल), rebuilt as a high-craft template. It is net-new and asymmetric — unlike every symmetric abstract in the set (konane, fanorona, checkers, mills…), the two sides play by entirely different rules and chase opposite goals, which makes it both strategically deep and very recordable (tigers stalk, goats swarm, a leap eats a goat to a roar).

The modern abstract classic (Abalone, 1987) — "the sumo of board games" — rebuilt as a high-craft template. It is **net-new** and unlike anything else in the set: a **hexagonal** board and a one-of-a-kind **line-pushing** mechanic (Sumito) where you shove the opponent's marbles off the edge.
Backgammon
The 5,000-year-old race game, you (white) versus a thinking CPU (dark). Roll two dice and move your checkers around the horseshoe toward your home board. Land on the opponent's lone **blot** to send it to the bar; stack two or more on a point to **block** it. Once all fifteen of your checkers are home, **bear them off** — first to clear all fifteen wins. Doubles play four.

Route queued planes to free runways, avoid crossing conflicts, and keep the airport flowing.
Pin Jump
**Peg solitaire** on a pin board. A pin **jumps over an adjacent pin** into the empty hole two spaces beyond, and the jumped pin pops out. Keep jumping until a **single pin** remains to clear the board. Strand yourself with no jump left and more than one pin and it's a dead board (undo or reset). 10 boards grow from a small cross to the full 33-hole English cross.
Hexfield Tactics
A kitchen-table hex-and-counter wargame on green felt. Slide printed cardboard units, pay forest and river costs, stop in zones of control, and settle assaults with tumbling dice. Ten authored scenarios teach movement, flanks, artillery, fog, engineers, supply and a river-crossing finale. After-action cards and commendations persist. Optional winter snow and hobby-shop counter sets.
